Privacy

System data stays on this Mac.

PanePulse reads public system counters, stores monitoring history locally, and does not require an account.

What the app measures

PanePulse reads CPU, memory, storage, network-interface, process, and power-source counters through public macOS APIs. It uses those counters to calculate current values, trends, and application rankings.

It does not read window titles, command-line arguments, open documents, network packets, URLs, browsing history, or the contents of files.

Where app data is stored

Metrics and history are stored locally in the PanePulse App Group container. Process and usage data are not uploaded to PanePulse.

A manual or enabled automatic update check contacts only the configured HTTPS appcast. PanePulse does not attach a system profile to that request.

What the website records

This website sets no cookies and embeds no analytics, advertising pixels, social widgets, or third-party fonts. Only the selected color theme and a manually selected website language are stored in your browser's local storage.

The web server may retain short-lived standard security logs containing an IP address, requested path, time, and user agent. They are used for reliability and abuse prevention, not visitor profiling or advertising.
